Hashtag #SaveTBRS on Twitter massively makes the hastag became first trending topic on Semarang area responding on the planning of Transcorp to build Third Trans Studio in Semarang.  Semarang people opinion to reject on the planning since it will destruct the existence of Taman Budaya Raden Saleh as a cultural spot in Semarang masively tweeted through the hashtag.

 An art college Student, Hendra said “The planning to build Trans Studio in TBRS area will harm the existence of local artists since it eliminates the place where artists usually be in”

“On the other side, the establishment of Trans Studio hopefully gives better entertainment place in Semarang since Semarang lack of big theme park as big as Trans Studio”. Hendra added.

The establishment of Trans Studio is planned to build in the end of year but seeing the respond of Semarang people, the developer faces serious problem. People afraid of the damage goes to public places which lead to the privatisation since the open public space in Semarang is very limited.

Tommy, an English Student expects that the establishment of Trans Studio Bandung must go on, because in Central Java lack of entertainment places compared to Bandung, Jakarta even Surabaya. “Government must concern on the development of the entertainment while government also has to find new place for TBRS when the execution begun” He said.

Furthermore, A Student of Regional and Urban Engineering, Ahmad said “ He totally disagree of establishment Trans Studio because the ticket entrance is expensive enough”

”It can be enjoyed for rich people only. Poor people will be more ignored to enjoy the entertainment’’ He added.

“The raise of entertainment’s need leads Trans Studio builds its own third place in Semarang since Semarang as capital of Central Java left behind when compared to other in Java Island” Laksmi, An English Literature Student said.

”Semarang has to equalize its own position, Central Java needs big entertainment venue” Hardian, friend of Laksmi added.

“Hashtag #SaveTBRS occurs just because the high responses of people to be more cultural understanding about the existence of TBRS” Jenny said.
