SINGAPORE – slametpra.blogspot.com. A shameful football match was shown by Indonesia againsts Thailand in the semifinal round of SEA Games 2015 Singapore in Singapore footballl stadium last Saturday night 13/6/2015. Thailand came as the winner in that round by goaling five goals respectively.

Many supporters came to the stadium in ordIer to support their favorite football time. On the other hand, the Indonesian’s supporters were feeling shameful by seeing that Indonesia team finally gave up without goals. 5-0 won by Thailand is finally proven by the performance of Thailand team which is much better compared to Indonesia team.

Since the match is conducted in Singapore as the nearest country from Indonesia, the euphoria of Indonesia people to attend and see the match is really high to see their favourite team who wore white and green soccer uniform.

The euphoria of Indonesian people in seeing the match can be seen not only in ticket selling was finally sold out, but also the accessories that used by the audiences such as ‘pom-pom’, full body make-up, body painting even sacrifice themselves to be iconic symbol. JAKARTA, slametpra.blogspot.com -- Angkie Yudistia, is a deaf girl since the age of 10 years, but it did not make her surrender through life. Although it is so hard for common people, she was able to complete his education in public schools since elementary school to high school.

Practically, the disability of Angkie raises a lot of problems while studying in elementary to high school. Not infrequently she claimed often receive insults and humiliation. When it was, shame indeed make Angkie cover herself as deaf.

"I used to be bullied, said as deaf, deaf, very often in the neighborhood," he said as

Angkie then completed his studies in the advertising department at the London School of Public Relations (LSPR), Jakarta, and graduated with a 3.5 grade point average. On the same campus, Angkie even has got a master degree after graduating from the field of marketing communications through an accelerated program.

Concern owner 170cm tall and weighs 53kg it was continued with the launch of a book entitled 'Invaluable Experience to Pursue Dream' (Women Deaf Penetrating limit) the end of 2011. Life experiences and thoughts poured through her work.

A Moment in Awarding

SEMARANG- A Long selection to select an outstanding student (Mahasiswa Berprestasi) of Semarang State University has been conducted. Eva Andriani an accounting department successfully selected after competing with eight students from different faculties.  A student who comes from Banyuwangi, East Java never expects that she comes out to represent Unnes in Nationals since the other students also the best in their faculties.

“It is not just a second for preparing. I had did many things to prepare it. I always be positive and optimist. I also really say thank to Allah, for his blessing in my days, my family and friends. I can’t speak more. Alhamdulillah” She cryingly said.

Eva who is active in some organizations in Unnes also says thank to her organizations. Besides she is active in BEM KM Unnes as Human Resources Development Division, she also active in Lingkar Pelangi and 1000 Guru which active in social changing. It goes without saying that she is better compared to other students in her years.

“I am blessed. Thanks to Lingkar Pelangi, BEM KM Unnes and 1000 Guru which are actively support me. I am nothing without them. They are so inspirational” She said.

Furthermore, she believes that to be an outstanding student must be prepared for long time. Achievement records, English speaking ability and GPA are the parameters to be the outstanding student. The success of her never comes easily. She hardly struggle to compete in the selection. So that she deserves to get the title.

“I was sleeping late, eating late and sometimes ignoring my courses to get the training, but they were finally paid.” Eva expressed her happiness.

This student who concentrating in Accounting Department expects that the winning of her will be special gift for Faculty of Economic which is celebrating its birthday.

“I hope, this winning can be the unforgettable gift for my faculty which is celebrating its birthday” She continued.

As her life principal, achievements never look at people’s background. Achievements come to those who struggle and do big efforts.

“Hmm so do the best and always struggle. We as students have own ways to be success and I choose to be an outstanding student. Don’t forget to pray and be grateful”. She ended.

A Century was passed by the producers of jenang. The result of high consistency, they made Jenang as the traditional gift becomes world-class herritage food from Kudus.

Visiting Religious city, Kudus is never be perfect without getting special snack which is called Jenang that made from sticky rice, coconut milk, sugar and wijen. In the past years, this food appeared only in the big ceremonial day but now this food comes in every season. All those things are the result of hardwork of a family who successfully made Jenang becomes more popular.

“Is there anyone who does not know Jenang Mubarok which is known as Jenang Sinar 33 ? People who come to Kudus even everyone who knows Kudus never forget the existence of Jenang Mubarok which is familiar enough” Muhammad Hilmy, the third generation of Jenang Sinar 33 ownership said.

He added that in 1910 his family as the origin of Kudus people started to produce Jenang and only received the order from Kudus people only. This business was started by Haji Mabruridan Hajjah Alawiyah in very minimum capital. From the starting point, the owner only sold Jenang in Pasar Bubar around Kudus Minaret area. In that time, the owner only produced 35 Jenangs in a production term.

Citrapersada Mubarok Food, the current name of the Jenang Sinar 33 production now has more than 162 employees in production department and 20 operational management.  The production has been expanded to the international areas.

“Currently, we are exporting our products to Korea, Taiwan and some countries in middle east such as Arab and Egypt” Hilmy said.

As the result of the development of technology, now the production using sophisticated technology. Nevertheless there is a step that must use manual way. The process of cutting still using human resources since it will affect to the original taste of Jenang.

“Even if using technology is really helpful, but using hand is much more authentic and never change the originality of the taste” Hilmy explained.

“The central store which is located in Sunan Muria street number 33 always crowded of buyers. It will be more crowded if the pilgrimage season comes. In normal season, the crowdies always happening in weekend as the result of many tourists come to Kudus” Hilmy ended the interview.

BEGGARS ARE RAISING, SUPARNI : I AM

NOT THAT PITY.

The lack of economy capability forces certain people to earn money whatever ways are. It triggers certain people choose as beggar instead of seeking the proper job. 

The existence of beggars currently raise not only in public areas such as market, public street or other public spaces, but it is existing in educational institutions. Nevertheless it does not exist in Suparni, a 50 year-old woman who sincerely sells snacks to fulfil her needs.

“I am not that pity to be a beggar. I am strong enough to sell something” Suparni strongly argued.

The phenomenon of many adult beggars in surrounding of Semarang State University makes people who living in Sekaran Gunungpati feeling disgusting. In the fact, adult women who labelled themselves as unlucky ones are contradictive with their own capability to earn money from the right ways.

“ I am awaring that many of women are lazy to earn money effort fully, but I don’t want to get any pity from people even if selling snacks is not that easy” She added.

 Suparni, who living in Muntal, Gunungpati Semarang must walk approximately 10 Kilometres from her home to Campus area to sell her snacks. She never complains in doing her daily activities. She heart fully does so in order to lighten her family’s burden.

“ I have six children, three of them were married. My husband is getting heart attack, it is hard for him to get a job while I still have three children who still need eat to survive” She cryingly said. 

“People who have enough capability in term of body strength, skill and willingness to earn money are capable enough to earn money from getting job not as beggar, sometimes I feel so sad” She added.

She honestly said that she only gets 10% of total price as the income since the snacks she got from other people. That is why, the income sometimes so little and never enough to fulfil the need. The range price of her snacks is around Rp. 5000 – Rp. 7.500. If it is counted all snacks are sold, she just got Rp. 50.000 each day.

“I must looking for other alternatives in order to get proper life, besides selling snacks in Campus area, I also work in Laundry Centre in  the evening” She added.

The hard life of Suparni is really contradictive with other beggars who most of them are younger than her. Most of the women beggars are 40-50 year-old and dressed so pity. Responding on that phenomenon, Suparni just be grateful for not being as beggar as long as her capability to do something is worthy for her life.

“I never think people who be beggar is bad. I just keep positive thinking. Every single people’s life is different. The keys are just be grateful and never give up” She ended the interview.

GUNUNGPATI’S SUB-DISTRICT LEADER: HUMAN RESOURCES IS STILL LOW.

Semarang – Human Resources in Gunungpati sub-district still low development. This idea does not only come to local people of Gunungpati but also the officials are claimed still low and left behind especially in technology development.

The statements above are expressed by Gunungpati’s sub-district leader, Bambang Pramusinto when a group of Unnes Students conducted observation related to the social service project (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) in his room on Friday (May, 1st 2015)

These condition is true since the sub-discrict of Gunungpati leader ever conducted sudden-monitoring in Sekaran, when he visited the office at 01.30 P.M but no one in the office. In fact, the office’s service hours end at 4 P.M

“It indicates that lack of human resources responsibility in caring the people. I am so pity to see this phenomena” He added.

A Student of English Department, Slamet Prasojo asked the question related to the absence of officials in service hours to Sub-District Leader. “I am going to invite them to the office and ask the clarification.

 If it does not effective, I will take further steps to overcome this problems” He said. Bambang also argues that the Service time in the office not always crowded as other places so that many of officials decide to go home earlier. In his opinion, He always take note, but it is difficult to raise the official’s awareness.

“I don’t want to disappoint the citizen in getting service, but it is difficult to overcome since it relates to personal behaviour which creates new bad nature.” He said.

The lack of officials in Gunungpati being worse because most of officials also incapable in using technology. “ I am so pity to see that most of my officials are incapable in using technology. We already trained them, but there is no significant results of it.” Mr Bambang ended the interview.

The English Department lecturer of Semarang State University, Hendi Pratama, MA also feels the same problems related to the slow response of official’s service in the office and bad service hours management.

“ I do feel the same. The officials must serve the citizen well, but the fact is not” He said. Hendi also claims that the bad service system in Gunungpati as a product of habit which difficult to solve. “When a habit cares in daily activities, the worst habit will be” He added.

Hendi as citizen and academics totally hopes to see better service in governmental offices. He adds that the existence of Semarang State University able to take part in solving the problems through project service programs.

 “As a local citizen, I am looking forward to seeing better service since it relates to people’s need. It also our concern as Unnes academics to contribute to local development”. He ended his statement.

The raise of tourism visit in Kudus, Central Java forces local government to build Tourist Information Centre (TIC) under the monitoring of Kudus Tourism Authority Office. Since the demand in getting local tourism information is highly wanted, the existence of TIC creates new atmosphere to get information freely.

Tourist Information Centre (TIC) officially opened by official in the end of this April. It is located in the Kudus Identical Monument around Kudus Extension Mall Area, R.A Agil Kusumadya Street Number 231 Kudus city.
